Welcome!

I am a Professor at the School of Information (iSchool), Kent State University, Ohio, USA.

My areas of research include the organization of information, metadata, knowledge organization systems, subject access to information, conceptual modeling of bibliographic data, intercultural awareness of information professionals, user-information interactions, and user experience studies.

I teach graduate courses in the broader area of information organization, including knowledge and resource representation and access, classification, categorization, and conceptual models. I also teach topics relating to international librarianship.
